How to Set Up Bi-Weekly Payment Frequency for Contractors?

Follow these steps to set up bi-weekly payments for your contractors.

1. Navigate to the Contractor’s Profile

  • From the dashboard, go to the "Team" section to view all your contractors.

  • Locate and click on the profile of the contractor you want to update the payment frequency for.

2. Access Payment Settings

  • Once you’re on the contractor's profile page, look for the "Job Details "section. This is where you can manage their payment frequency and other payroll-related settings.

3. Select Bi-Weekly Payment Frequency

  • In the "Payment Frequency" section, you’ll see a variety of options like:

    • Weekly

    • Bi-weekly

    • Monthly

    • Semi Monthly
    • None
  • Select "Bi-weekly" from the available options. This means the contractor will be paid every two weeks, which is ideal for businesses that want a regular, predictable payment cycle.

  • Add Bi-Weekly payment cycle start date.

4. Save Changes

  • After selecting bi-weekly, be sure to save the changes by clicking the Save button at the bottom of the page.

  • Once saved, the contractor’s payment frequency will now be set to bi-weekly. Any future payments will follow this schedule.

Q: I don’t see the payment frequency option. What should I do?

A: Ensure that you're in the correct section of the contractor’s profile. The payment frequency is located under "Job Details" . If it's not visible, make sure your account has the appropriate permissions to access and edit these settings.

Q: The payment frequency option is grayed out or uneditable. Why is this happening?

A: Make sure that you clear your cash and cookies. Verify that your account has the admin rights , or contact Remofirst support to ensure everything is working properly.

Q: I selected "Bi-weekly," but the payment schedule doesn’t seem to reflect the change.

A: Make sure that you saved the changes after selecting the bi-weekly option. If the issue persists, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. If the problem continues, reach out to Remofirst support for assistance.

Q: I’m trying to set bi-weekly payments for multiple contractors at once. Can I do that?

A: Currently, Remofirst requires you to change the payment frequency for each contractor individually.
