Managing access rights with groups

This article summarizes the groups available on the Remofirst platform to restrict access to features and areas of the platform.


The Remofirst platform offers the ability to set a 'Group' for each Manager.  This will restrict access to some areas of the platform, its data and features.

The following groups are available:

  • PTO Viewer
  • PTO Manager
  • Expense Viewer
  • Expense Manager
  • Finance/AP Specialist
  • Finance Specialist
  • HR Specialist
  • Superuser

A user can be allocated more than one group. 

If no group is selected, the default group is 'Superuser'.

Short Description

PTO Manager

  • Can view and manage (approve/reject/add/download) time-off data.
  • Cannot view personal data or documents relating to employees or Contractors.

PTO Viewer

  • Can view time-off data.
  • Cannot view personal data or documents relating to employees or Contractors.

Expense Manager

  • Can view and manage (approve/reject/add/download) expense data.
  • Cannot view personal data or documents relating to employees or Contractors.

Expense Viewer

  • Can view expense data.
  • Cannot view personal data or documents relating to employees or Contractors.

Finance/AP Specialist

  • Can view and manage payroll, additional payments, invoices, and contractor payment data as well as payment methods.
  • Cannot view personal data or documents relating to employees or Contractors.

Finance Specialist

  • Can view and manage payroll, additional payments invoices, and contractor payment data.
  • Cannot view personal data or documents relating to employees or Contractors.

HR Specialist

  • Can view and manage employee/contractor data, time-off, expenses, additional payments, salary revisions, benefit and agreement data.

Superuser

  • Can view and manage all data and features on the platform, as well as manage user groups.
