The following public holidays will be observed in the Philippines during April. These dates are declared under the Philippine governmentβs official holiday proclamation for 2026.
Regular Holidays
The following dates are considered regular holidays:
Eidβl Fitr (Feast of Ramadan) β March 20
Maundy Thursday β April 2
Good Friday β April 3
Day of Valor (Araw ng Kagitingan) β April 9
Pay rules:
Employees who work on a regular holiday are entitled to:
Their basic daily salary, plus
An additional 100% of their daily wage for the first 8 hours worked
Special (Non-Working) Day
Black Saturday β April 4
Pay rules:
Employees who work on this day are entitled to:
Their basic daily salary, plus
30% of their daily wage for the first 8 hours worked
Payroll Submission Deadline
To ensure proper processing:
Please submit the list of employees who worked during these holidays on or before April 10 to support@remofirst.com.
Payments will be processed in the April 15 payroll payout.

These holidays are part of the official Philippine holiday calendar issued by the Office of the President, which declares both regular holidays and special (non-working) days for the year.
